Real Wedding - Sinéad and Philip

Sinéad and Philip - September 2021 at Inchydoney Hotel and Spa.

Sinéad and Philip. These two were just simply amazing to work with on their wedding day. Set at the fabulous and beautiful backdrop of Inchydoney, Co. Cork for their wedding ceremony and reception. This wedding truly was a day where the wind howled!

The day was filled with lovely little details, down to the beautiful and unique flowers and even bottle-cork inspired button holes by the talented Jill Wild. The weather stayed dry (just about!) but that onshore wind was challenging and left us all a little windswept after our photos were done! I had fingers and toes crossed that Sinéad's veil wouldn't blow away!

Definitely one of my favourite backdrops in Cork. Their day was added with suprisingly good light despite the impending rain clouds on the horizon, the Atlantic sea rolling in from those high winds and those darkening clouds created such an atmosphere for Sinéad and Philip's wedding day gallery. It even made the flower confetti shots super easy...all they had to do was just let go of the petals!

Bridal preparations with great Cork suppliers - Audrey of Upstyle Junkie and Ruthanna Crowley and the ceremony and reception were all held at Inchydoney Hotel and Spa, giving us good time to head across to the small little piece of land that juts out to sea for our bridal party and couple's shoot. Although a small area, it packs plenty of spots for various shots for both bridal party and couple's photos.

Their couple's shoot was just epic. I distinctly remember giving ourselves a round of applause at the end for embracing that wind and weather! I often remind my couples to take what the day throws at you. It is Ireland after all and we can never tell what the day will bring! Take the weather and head out for those shots that you have for your lifetime!
