So excited to launch my newest venture and aspect to my photography. Introducing Broken Ground. A image series for couple's who want their photos in less-ordinary places. Mountain top scenes to wild Atlantic seascapes and everything in between.
In April 2023 I put a poll out on Instagram to test the water of the concept that's always been in my mind - "Who's up for a wedding shoot on a mountain top?" To my amazement, 116 people replied YES! I knew this is something people wanted - photos that are outside of the norm of a wedding day.
Before this concept had its name, the inaugural shoot of what was to become Broken Ground came to on top of Torc Moutain, Co. Kerry in Spring 2023. Myself and a past couple (absolute legends, by the way!) hiked up through some unfavourbale wind and rain, changed into their wedding outfits once again and we created some memorable and unique shots between the changing weather conditions. I've been longing to relive and remake this scenario since.
Not limiting these shoots to just weddings and elopements, it will also encompass pre-wedding shoots, engagements shoots and post-wedding couple's sessions. All for those who love adventure and the hope that these photo sessions will represent them and their personalities within the beautiful and rugged Irish landscape.
